Refund & Returns Policy

Duality Dynamics / Duality Fitness / Fit Café

This policy applies to all products and services offered by Duality Dynamics and its associated brands, including but not limited to Duality Fitness, FitMeals, Fit Café, wellness coaching, events, workshops, and digital products.

We operate primarily in South Africa, and this policy is aligned with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (hereafter referred to as “the CPA”). Certain digital products may also be accessed internationally, in which case additional international consumer standards may apply.


1. Food Products (FitMeals & Fit Café)

Due to the perishable nature of food products:

  • All food purchases are non-refundable and non-returnable
  • This includes:
    • Fresh meal prep orders
    • Café meals, drinks, and takeaway items
    • Meal packages and bulk orders

Exceptions

A refund or replacement may be considered only if:

  • The product was incorrect, spoiled, or unsafe at the time of delivery or collection
  • The issue is reported within 24 hours of receipt
  • Photographic evidence is provided where applicable

Refunds or replacements are issued at our discretion after assessment.


2. Coaching Services (In-Person & Online)

This includes:

  • Personal training
  • Wellness coaching
  • One-off sessions
  • Out-of-package consultations
  • Online coaching services
  • Tai Chi classes

Refunds

  • Sessions already attended are non-refundable
  • Missed sessions without sufficient notice are forfeited by the customer.
  • Class package rates are flat rates and non-refundable. They give you access to classes till the end of the month based on the package you bought. If you miss classes or don’t attend, they will not be credited over and you will not receive a refund.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session
  • Late cancellations may result in the session being deducted

Unused sessions may be refunded only in exceptional circumstances, assessed on a case-by-case basis.


3. Events, Workshops & Classes

This includes:

  • Fitness events
  • Wellness workshops
  • Creative or community events
  • Group classes and experiences

Refunds

  • No refunds for events already attended
  • Tickets are generally non-refundable

Transfers

  • Tickets may be transferred to another person if we are notified in advance
  • If an event is cancelled by us, a full refund or credit will be issued

4. Digital Products & Subscriptions (Duality Fitness App)

This includes:

  • App subscriptions
  • Digital content
  • Online programs
  • Other Subscription-Based Products offered by Duality Fitness.

Refunds

  • Digital products are non-refundable once access has been granted
  • This applies regardless of usage

Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to prevent future billing
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription periods

International Users

While we comply with South African law, international users acknowledge that:

  • Digital access is provided immediately
  • By activating a subscription, you waive the right to a cooling-off period where applicable by international standards

6. General Conditions

  • Refunds are processed using the original payment method
  • Processing times may take 5–10 business days
  • Proof of purchase is required for all refund requests
  • Abuse of the refund policy may result in refusal of service
